What I don’t understand is how someone with an admitted “boatload of unreported income” expected any sympathy from the IRS! He rails that the IRS is tyrannical and the tax code incomprehensible, then does one of the biggest OBVIOUS no-no’s in tax filing. At the end of his horrible act of selfishness leaves his wife to pick up the pieces without any assets because he burnt them.
What was he thinking? His name isn’t geithner or rangel. Us non connected types aren’t allowed to skirt the tax laws.
