The use of the passports, is troubling and, imho, calls into question whether it was, in fact, the Mossad. Could they really be THAT sloppy? Or is it a very thinly veiled attempt to pin the assassination on Israel?
One more thing, diplomatic relations between Israel & Britain are in the deep freeze? I can see why .... after all, it's the Israelis that blow up buses & trains and attack airports in Great Britain, right? (/s)
Not to mention the fact that the British government hasn't exactly fallen all over itself to address the rampant anti-Semitism prevalent, currently, in Britain or the threat to arrest Israeli officials who set foot in Britain ...
And also not to mention that these Israeli officials would be arrested on war crimes charges. Which brings a question to mind ... has the same threat of arrest been made concerning the likes of Khaled Mashaal and his band of Merry Men? I didn't think so.
There could be a thousand other people / groups with a motive, including arab rivals - but they seemed to have settled on the Mossad. To me it only enhances the aura of the Mossad and I hope it serves notice to others.
If it was the Mossad, I've got some nominees for their list, including ahmanutjob in Iran.
