Absolutely.

As an EMT, we always carried and used Kotex in the ambulance as it is not sterile environment anyway. There is not a better compression bandage made.

Worked for whitewater raft companies for a number of years. We always carried them in our first aid kits. Learned to use them for the secondary purpose during EMT training.
