Romney really, really, wanted to serve, but alas, he was forced to live in France during the period when his draft status was a little hot, and the rest of the time he just had other things that kept him from enlisting, but in spirit he was very butch.

I assume the “genuine war hero” referred to is none other than John “Fraud” Kerry, who bugged out after falsely grabbing a slew of medals to go on and throw all Viet Nam Veterans under the bus?

This is one additional reason that I would like to see Palin win the Republican primary. If she wins then we will be done with the 2008 retreads. If Mitt and Huck lose to her I think they will finally go away with their tails between their legs. I also think Palin would have momentum after winning the republican primary, so I think she could upset Obama.
Mitt Romney is just not what we need. He’s not a terrible person. He is intelligent and a good manager. He knows how to turn a business around and make it work, make money. He should continue to do that useful work.
We, however, need a Constitutional warrior. A blood and guts fighter for this country. He just isn’t that...at all.
That’s a term I’ve never heard affixed to the effete Liberal.

I think *everyone* who ran in 2008 will be a disaster if they run again... including McCain and his choice for VP. First things first: McCain has to lose the Arizona primary.
