Our EPA has “found” that growing any sort of food releases CO2. Actually they said that cultivating soil releases a whole lotta CO2. The best use of the earth according to EPA is growing trees.

What I object to is all these tree-hugging inteventionist types playing their silly games, affecting ME personally, and looking down their noses at me at the same time. Morons.

I'm a vegetarian, and I could not agree more. PETA is the worst...hyper-morons, if I may coin a term.

I'm not that keen on omnivores looking down their noses at me, either. (not referring to you here)

If God had not intended for man to eat animals, then why did He make them out of meat?

If God intended us to eat animals because they are made out of meat, then why do we arbitarily decide to eat some, but not others?

It’s a bit of a nonsense circular argument.

First, it’s “AHHH! Global warming! Global warming! We’ve got to stop driving and running factories that make things! We’ve got reduce our carbon outputs! AHHHH!”

Then, it’s “AAAAH! We’re eating too much meat! We’ve got to eat veggies to reduce our carbon footprints! AAAH!”

Then, it’ll be “AHHHH! We can’t sustain our Earth because there’s too many people! Abort all the babies! No more births! AAAAAH!”

Then, that leads to “AAAAH! There’s still too many people! Kill off all the white Americans and Christians! AAAAAH!”

Ya gotta know...that’s where it’s leading....

All human life is dangerous to Gaia. So let’s kill everyone and leave a small, sustainable group of elites who will manage things until extraterrestrials arrive and set the planet right.

Of course, we’ll need some plebs to do manual labor and all that. So a twenty to one ratio of plebs to elites will be tolerated under a carefully monitored and controlled breeding/education system.

We can call it National Healthcare and Public Education.

What someone needs to do is go throw red paint on every urban garden they can find!

FOOD PING!!

Different people’s bodies may well need different things. Without the protein of cheese and meat (sorry, beans don’t work for me) you would be seeing me on the news for having murdered a whole lot of people.

Why would any study commissioned by the WWF be considered newsworthy?

I guess then Jonathan Swift's "Modest Proposal" was a good idea after all.

No its not. If it doesn't have a place in the deep freeze, there's room for it somewhere on the wall :-)

Ummm...in this case because it indicates an opinion that you wouldn’t expect from WWF.

It is true that plant protein is rather short of one or two essential amino acids. It’s not usually a problem, but vegetarians need to be aware of it.
