Sen. Brown Delivers: Labor’s Love Lost

The Senate on Tuesday rejected Craig Becker, President Obama’s nominee for the National Labor Relations Board. Becker got 52 votes — but he needed 60 to break a GOP filibuster. Democratic Sens. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Ben Nelson of Nebraska even voted no.

On the surface, new Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., wasn’t important. But he denied Democrats' ability to break a GOP filibuster, so there was no point in vulnerable senators sticking their necks out

Democratic Sens. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Ben Nelson of Nebraska even voted were allowed to vote no only because the issue was moot.

Good.

The more Congress refuses to follow in his communist footsteps the angrier he’ll get. And the angrier he gets the more likelihood he’ll do and say things that he’ll regret. And the more he says words he regrets, the sooner he implodes into a puddle of Kenyan black wastewater.
