Hi LS
Do you have any idea how much Howard Zinn’s books were assigned reading for university history courses? Is it possible to go to Harvard or Yale and not have to read it? I took a quick look at the Harvard History Department faculty and they seem fairly conventional. Though their English faculty is full of post-colonial, post-modernist wack jobs. It’s a hoot to read their CVs and see what they look like.

CONGRATS to LS!
I only teach history, and of course breathe and live it.
But LS writes it.
KUDOS!
I haven’t researched this-—in fact, while doing 48 Liberal Lies, we tried to get publishing info on how many “mainstream” textbooks were sold annually. We couldn’t find it. So I have no idea about Zinn, nor do I care. We’re gonna overturn all this crap, sooner or later. As Cheney said in 2000, “The wheel has turned, and it’s time for them to go.”
Every time LS sells a book, a liberal’s head explodes. Isn’t life wonderful?
:)
I told my colleagues today. They were stunned, but at least superficially congratulatory. I even got a note from the Pres. of the University.
Thanks dennisw. Congratulations LS! Hey, I bought a couple of softbound titles by Michael Pollan tonight. :’)
