You can let the media pick the frontrunners again if you like. Worked out real well last time.
Media schmedia. The smart polls still tell us what people want. Heck now even the stupid polls tell us what people DON’T want.
Yes. the media told us it had to be RINOs Rudy McRomney, and the idiots in the GOP followed along. They led start to finish and lost, just as conservatives here said they would.

This is what you get from a dysfunctional primary process and has nothing to do with media. Iowa and New Hampshire aren’t representative of middle America any more. McCain was the best shot that came through this deformed screen.
They were still polling nationally as the frontruners. In polls that most often did not include Mr. Hunter (or any of the others deemed by the poobahs to be unelectable). A very convenient thing, eh?
Ain’t going to happen this time. If Hunter gets in, He’ll tear it up. Same with DeMint. We’ll just have to see.
There will be no three headed RINO being shoved down our throats again.
And who cares? The media jumped in front of the bandwagon and claimed to be leading it. The real problem was the bandwagon started in inauspicious places, where Hunter never had a chance.
If Duncan Hunter can be sold in more-and-more gaaaaaay Iowa and New Hampshire, more power to him. The GOP is going to have to change the primary process if it wants to bring more conservative people to power.

His son, Duncan D., is a more complete package. He's got the looks, poise, ease of speech, and his dad's conservative values.
In time, I think he will surpass his dad. He just needs a little "seasoning".

Thanks for posting. I was just at a gathering the other day where Duncan D. was talking about this and how it felt to have his father looking over his shoulder. Now I know what he’s talking about!
