Can’t have martial law without military action on US soil. Can’t declare martial law without a justification. What better justification then a terrorist attack in the next few months that the CIA says will happen.

Bless their hearts, the liberal cancer has spread everywhere. People in MO need help too, but I don’t think they will like the treatment.

Big surprise .. wonder who he is going to get to be the judge for the new legal system he no doubt will want for our trials?
Hum .. lets see .. maybe he can dig up Stalin for that one.

The National Police Force® is closer than ever.

Another step by nobama leading to martial law, most likely for "National Security" purposes, that will postpone the Nov elections.

I am convinced he will do everything in his power to become a dictator.

He will be awed by the push back.

Some of the governors on the lists are Republicans - and need to be watched closely how they conduct themselves on this committee. When are their terms up. If this year, when are the primaries in their states?
James H. Douglas (R) VT
Christine Gregoire (D) WA
Janice Brewer (R) AZ
Luis Fortuna (R) PR
Brad Henry (D) OK
Robert McDonnell (R) VA just elected?
Jeremiah Nixon (D) MO
Martin O’Malley (D) MD
Beverly Eaves Perdue (D) NC
Michael Rounds (R) SD
It’s 50-50 Dems and Republicans (Zero pretending to give equal time? “Bipartisanship?”)
Is this committee subject to Senate confirmation procedures? If not, there is an extremely obvious Constitutional problem.

There’s just no way for anyone to keep claiming that he’s doing this out of incompetency. It’s very deliberate, and it’s obvious his agenda is more important to him than his poll numbers or re-election prospects.

Gov. Jeremiah W. ‘Jay’ Nixon supported the interests of the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) 72 percent in 2008.

Military activities in the U.S.? WTF?

Posse Comitatus excludes “insurrection.” Does he really have plans to implement “for our benefit” that he anticipates might bring about an insurrection?

It’s just another do-nothing, photo-op/sound clip “commission”.

Want proof? They put our...ahem...esteemed Governor from NC on this thing. She’s dumber than a box of rocks. The only thing she knows about “defense” is that it “surrounds the back yard, I think”.

Much ado about nothing.

They are among Obama's nominations for the 10 positions on Obama's new "Council of Governors" that he will use for advice on "military activities in the United States."

If you want to have such a council it would seem logical to have as chairman someone with a lot of experience with the military. At the very least least you would want a governor who has a lot of military personnel in his state. Obama, however, appoints Jim Douglas of Vermont to be co-chair (with Chris Gregoire).

Douglas has no military experience and Vermont has no military bases. He will also be leaving office in a year. Another great choice by the dear leader.
