I should really clarify my remarks, as I did not intend to cast aspersions on the South, or the Carolinas either one.
We lived outside Charlotte for quite a while, and I still have family back in North Carolina. My brother and I still joke frequently about Jim and Tammy Faye, the Edwards, and lately Gubnor Stanford in South Cackalacky...it is amusing at times to review the sordid history of that area, in a dark humor sort of way.
I intended my comments as an inside very dark joke that only someone from the Carolinas could possibly appreciate. Pun intended but not a harsh insult. My apologies for any Southern egos that I may have bruised.,..

I have trouble with that explanation. If I had found such a tape, I would have tossed it into our fire after we finished that evening's s'mores and never mentioned it to anyone. I can't think of a better way of keeping it out of the hands of people who should not get it (which is everyone, including the two people in the tape).
Look.....Young was the one being screwed by Edwards, his wife AND his concubine!!! I would have kept it in the safe deposit box also.
The Bakker's were from Michigan. But anyone getting paid a few hundred million for deception is prone to having ego issues. self deceiving
