I liked the Tea-Party movement better when it was just everyday people, now looks like they are lawyering up and the movement being hi-jacked by organization.
Nice MSM/Leftist talking points
There were very many, many speakers at the tea party in September in DC, also at the one I attended in NYC. I see this as no different.
Probably just protecting themselves from all sides.
Because, you know, it’s better to be naive and unorganized, so that when election time comes, NOTHING gets done! But by golly, we’ll still be grassroots! Without leadership, without direction, without organization. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
The opposition likes the Tea Party movement better when it is just everyday people, too, because we as individuals don’t have the clout that a “led” movement does. The only thing we have to be absolutely sure of is that WE the movement PICK OUR OWN LEADERS and NOT LET ANYONE IMPOSE LEADERS ON US. We DO NOT need a Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton surrogate usurping OUR leadership through willing accomplices in the media, or otherwise!!!
Can’t advance an agenda without:
1. Succinct and clear positions.
2. Organization.
3. Leaders.
4. Registered voters.
It is inevitable that the vacuum left by the demrat-coopted Republican Party will be filled by something. Right now the Tea Party movement is in the best positiion to do that.
Initially I had the same thought, but if we don't organize to some extent we will flail around and get nothing accomplished.
I have come to the conclusion that we are involved in a war...a war to reclaim our nation. In war you need allies. Even if you don't agree with them entirely, their overall goal is closer to yours than the opposition.
For example, Scott Brown is actually a fairly liberal republican, but considering the environment he is running in, his win was huge, and he mostly agrees with us.
That being said...McCain HAS TO GO!
Scott Brown and Sarah Palin working for McCain is really pissing me off! It's time for the oldest farts to go.
This is great because no particular leader can be successfully isolated and attacked by the media.
