Indonesia would have adoption papers, no? Wasn’t Obama officially adopted there by his Indonesian father?

I've seen it claimed, probably based on that school document floating around the net, but I've never seen official papers to back it up.

Regardless, according to Indonesian law in effect at the time Obama would not have become a citizen upon adoption. And even if he had it would not have caused him to forfit his U.S. citizenship.

I’m not saying that Obama would have become an Indonesian citizen upon adoption. However, adoption requires production of an official birth certificate in just about every country. It would be interesting to see what official papers Indonesia has.

What U.S. citizenship ?
How could his mother transfer citizenship to her son when ?
1, # his father was never a U.S. citizen, his father was a Kenyan National.
2. # his mother was only 18 years old at the time of his birth, she had to be 19 at the time to transfer citizenship status to him according to the laws in 1961.
