They were stealing potential prostitutes from their pimps. They won’t kiss you for that. Taking innocent children from that Hellhole is not going to make the Devil happy.
The Haitian government, to the extent there is a Haitian government, is fine with us taking their sick, elderly, injured, handicapped, etc., to the states for medical treatment and preferably keeping them. But healthy young kids are the future work force - basket weavers and street whores. They’re needed.
We should leave and let the rest of the world deal with them. I’m sick of nations like Haiti. They’re just a drain that we can’t afford. I don’t want my tax money sent there and I said that from the start. If people want to give privately, fine, that’s their business.
