Well, I see Romney is taking at least part of my advice. I advised him to fall down on his knees before God and nation and beg forgiveness for the millions of innocent lives he and his pro-abortion comrades murdered and then spend the rest of his God-given life and his fortune trying to get pro-life conservatives elected.

John’s rape and incest exceptions are unconstitutional, illogical, and immoral,

Thanks for the reasoned and principled reply.

I think you know how the Abortion Bill played out twice in SD.That said I’m also sure you will understand Mr Thune’s stand, if he is to represent his constituents.

I’ll add my own thoughts on the subject. The Supreme Court decision Roe v Wade is far more Unconstitutional, illogical, and immoral than Mr. Thune’s stand.

I’m not trying for excuses here he is fully capable of explaining his stand on the issues. You know and I know that the percentages on our side of the anti-abortion issue are swinging our way, but are not yet to the point of influencing the Court to vacate that stupid decision.

Demanding from elected officials, that which by law they cannot give does not make sense. They are duty bound to uphold the law until it is changed. Granted they are the ones that make law, but in this case they done been had by the Supremes.

John Thune is as pro life as anyone I know, and I support his candidacy for whatever he seeks. He can only help the cause of life.

But I doubt his money alone will purchase a ticket to heaven.

Ask Diogenesis and humblegunner why they posted these pics yesterday. They were unnecessary. I don’t need to be threatened.

Romney has a lot of big buck Utah people behind him, including, sadly to say, one of my cousins, according to family rumors.

They were totally unnecessary.

You must approve of this type of behavior then.

Courts don’t make law. Abortion is still not legal in this country to this day. It can’t be. The Constitution states as its crowning purpose the securing of the blessings of liberty to posterity. It also says that no innocent person may be deprived of life. In two separate amendments.

Just because a court issues an unconstitutional opinion in a particular case, other officers of government, in all branches and at all levels, are not relieved of their obligation to uphold their own sworn Constitutional duty.

Hi, GOP_Lady. Your post above (#20) mocks poetic liscence
but does not answer the following:

When will Mitt Romney be a Man and Take Ownership
for TeamRomney's Attacks on Gov. Palin

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Poor sport spoiler Romney attacks other GOP candidates:

Novak: "Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign"

Said Novak: "The rumors were traced in part to Mitt Romney's campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson
."

"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

Well, I don’t approve of yours, that’s for sure.

FR is a pro-life, pro-liberty, pro-constitution conservative forum. Romney is an anti-liberty, anti-constitution, abortionist statist pig and I don’t appreciate people pushing him on this forum.

But I guess you’ve never seen me state that.

Would you two just take my advice and get a puppy. You'll get along so much better when you have something to take care of. Who knows, it may trigger you wanting a second honeymoon.
