The results of a new poll of Republican views posted on Daily Kos today are creating quite a stir. As they shouldthe results are astonishing. The poll found that 63 percent of Republicans think President Obama is a socialist; 36 percent don't think Obama was born in the United States; 31% think that he is a racist who hates white people (yikes!); and 39 percent think he should be impeached, among other things. (They also have worrying views on sex education, gays, and contraception.) Taken without question, it's a pretty damaging portrait of the prevailing views in the GOP. They look misinformed, narrow-minded and extreme. But before we get too carried away, I've got some worries about the accuracy of the poll.

It looks like there is an all out coordinated attack on Republicans from the Leftist Internet, MSM and Obama and his administration.

Right. And their freakazoid conceptions of Bush represented mainstream society. < sarcasm off >>

Newsweek giving a poll from the Daily Kos??? Republicans on the Daily Kos?? The Kos kids would never let Republicans post there. Anyone who says they are Republican over there is lying.

Evidently, not enough people. It is losing millions, and will probably be gone by this time next year.

The MSM had to have some sort of strategy for avoiding a repeat of 1994. This is Newsweak’s. What else do you expect from a bunch of lefties? They’re obviously not doing what they’re doing to make money.

Ordinary Americans don’t understand what great secret lies on the face of the president’s birth certificate that lawyers must fight with drawn pencils in courthouses across the land to keep it hidden.
In light of this behavior, people naturally draw an adverse inference against Obama.

"...poll of

This has got to be a poll of Kos posters' bigoted conception of what they imagine Republicans think.

The left is mounting a push back, just in time for election year. The idea is to paint conservatives as the villains. Get ready for more.

They’ll be begging for 1994 after November.

Yay!
Liberal strategy #3 (of 5): Spread FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt)
When you have nothing to offer, when you cannot compete, try to make people afraid of the opposition.

"It looks like there is an all out coordinated attack on Republicans from the Leftist Internet, MSM and Obama and his administration."
So?
No one who matters listens to the MSM or reads those liberal rags with any seriousness anyway.
We don't need to worry about what leftist slanted polls SAY we are...we just need to continue to BE WHO WE ARE.
In the past the libs have been accustomed to us wincing every time they say something nasty about us, but that has ended. Actually, we're saying things about them now, and they're wincing...evidenced by this circle jerk over some dumb and unofficial poll about what Republican's think.
Give me a break.
They've had a supermajority for over a year now, and still can't get anything done, so why should WE listen to anything that they THINK?
See my tagline...

Indeed. Remember, in 1994 Massachussets had two Democrat senators.
Oh what fun we will have leading up to and through the mid terms.
Isn’t it funny? They have a stranglehold on the House, a near fillibuster proof death grip on the Senate, the White House, are seating Wise Latina communists on the SCOTUS, and paying a Czar army with my money to dimantle Jefferson’s nation.
And yet, it feels like we have them on their heels. Interesting, no?
