My bet is that a good part of this money will be greasing the palms of Obama cronies in Illinois. I would also expect to see millions of dollars in “renovations” done by Chicago construction unions and juicy service contracts awarded to SEIU. It’s the Chicago way of doing things.

Limbaugh mentioned this on today’s show about an hour ago. He said he recalled Gitmo cost $100M to upgrade 2002 or so. Now I think I heard a talk show host (Cunningham, Ingraham, Savage?) say very recently it was as much to upgrade Gitmo as to be a million bucks for each prisoner still there and I can’t recall the number(s).
