The firearm will then use it's broadband internet access to consult NCIC FBI computers to consult if the firer is A) The legitimate owner, B) Permitted to own firearms, and C) Has no outstanding warrants or traffic tickets. If the firearm is displaying the yellow flashing warning light, the broadband access is not connected and the firearm WILL NOT FIRE. If a connection is refused by the NCIC FBI computer, OR if the firer does not pass background checks, the red flashing light will activate, indicating that the firearm WILL NOT FIRE. If this condition is seen, please reboot the firearm, remove and replace the magazine, and start the process again, beginning with the rolling of your fingerprint SMOOTHLY over the ENTIRE LENGTH of the trigger, and try again.
Assuming that all these conditions are met, the firer will have a retinal scan performed by the lens module at the rear of the firearm. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE LENS IS CLEAN AND NO SUNGLASSES, PERSCRIPTION GLASSES, OR CONTACT LENSES ARE WORN, or the retinal scan will fail and the firearm WILL NOT FIRE. A failed retinal scan will be indicated by the flashing blue light. Upon a successful retinal scan, the identity of the firer will be crosschecked with the identity of the owner as recorded in the onboard SIM card. Make sure the SIM card is firmly seated, or the firearm WILL NOT FIRE.
