Congress ain’t gonna (not this one at least). BUT some of the USSC didn’t look too happy last night.

He is calling it intimidation. It is why it is diabolical.

They did and also had the majority in both houses when they did. But the effort was half hearted at best, and at the end of the day politics came before the best interest of the country as usual. Not so much on Dubya’s part BUT he had a very advantageous position at the time and he let it go to waste by NOT FIGHTING the Democrats almost every time he should have.

Glenn could only come to one conclusion after the arrogant display President Obama put on last night -- he must think you are stupid. He pitched a spending freeze while also advocating for cap and trade, high speed rails, government healthcare and more programs we just cannot afford. Chris Matthews: not colorblind

Chris Matthews gave America (at least the tens of tens of people in America who watch his show) a window into his hateful soul last night when he proclaimed that he 'forgot' for an hour that the President was black. That means the rest of the time Chris Matthews only thinks about Barack Obama based on his color. Surely liberal and progressive bloggers will act immediately to get this hatemonger off the air! The One vs. Free Speech

When the Supreme Court came to a 5-4 decision out of the blue last week that allowed corporations to donate to political campaigns, it was a victory for free speech. It was a statement against the McCain/Feingold act, but ‘The One’ lashed out against it during the State of the Union speech last night.
