This Hayworth guy is a breath of fresh air. Maybe he can keep McCain from doing something really stupid like helping bammy govern?

McCain is a target-rich environment. Just the fact that, this week, the Supreme Court bombed his campaign finance brainchild should be enough to show he’s little more than an incumbent careerist willing to pass anything designed to keep him and his Senate pals in office.

But, as Andrew McCarthy pointed out in an interview with Front Page Magazine, McCain trashed W as a lawless torturer, and directly paved the way, through his law on torture, for treating terrorists as criminal defendants today. This means that, thanks directly to McCain, we now have a national security policy of waiting until the crime is committed to mobilize and...investigate.

Thanks, John.

DITTO!

Maybe JD needs to use the term Consititutional Conservative because I am seeing the Blue Dogs starting to jijack the commonsense label for themselves, I’m sure to confuse the TPers. Plus if Sarah continues on her promise over principle support for McCain, her coining the commonsense consevative moniker could muddy the stark differences between the two campaigns.

Join the TEA Party

WHEN JD wins - it's like putting another teaspoon of honey in our TEA. With MA, VA, NJ already, it's getting mighty sweet!

“someone who describes himself as a maverick but is a moderate,”

...awesome! Call a spade a spade! Nobody’s falling for that “Maverick” BS anymore. Maybe even turn it up a notch from “moderate” to “progressive”, which is McCain all the way.

A biggie here is McCain’s support for AGW as well as his votes against ANWR..... I hope JD uses that as our gas prices have been going up rapidly in the last few months and all the old people on fixed incomes over here are feeling the pinch.

Go to it, JD. I’ll be sending in my donation whenever you get ready. One less RINO in the senate sounds great. But without McCain, would Grahamnesty eventually lose that obvious lip-pucker?
