Oh, they really have little imagination. I have been waiting and waiting for them to really start branching out, and they keep concentrating on airplanes. I have noticed more Muslims around our parts in the last year or two, so I am extra vigilant when I see them in the grocery store (almost NEVER go to the mall- about once every three years or so, if that.)

I agree with your approach to malls: simply don’t go there.
Sometimes, once a year, I have to, though.

My USPc is always carried on such occasions.

Around home in NH I tend to be a bit less strict.

Whilst consulting in Manassas, VA I needed to attend one prior to the “illegal immigration” check that they started a couple of years back...

I was still worried, as I only had eleven rounds (FYI CCW legal in VA)and the “observer” corps was huge.

Been back since, things have gotten better!

But the .40 still goes.

Unimaginative indeed, think of the 2007 Glasgow Airport attackers, both MD’s who slapped together a ridiculous propane-tank bomb and tried to drive their way into the terminal, unsuccessfully might I add, one of them was fatally torched.

They would have accomplished a lot more bloodshed had they simply taken two AK’s and all the loaded magazines they could carry and shot the place up. You’d think two med school graduates would be at least smart enough to know their limitations and think things through.
