Sen Inhofe is quite the private pilot and I actually met him @ Oshkosh.
My guess he is running the block on TSA and what they may further do to General Aviation.

My Brother in Law sold him an old Aronica Champ he rebuilt, about thirty years ago. We both rebuilt a 1946 BC12D Taylorcraft, and used it to get a license, lot of fun in that old plane. I haven't been up in nearly 25 years. Oh well....
