The Chinese reference is a “march” and the Navajo (or Navaho) one is a “walk.”

And since you are not Dine you do not know how the language of the people refers to it. It was indeed a forced march and the elders call it that to this day. You can Wiki all you want. When you have ‘walked’ to Redondo and back under forced conditions.... let me know
