Uh, bear in mind, these people control a lot of access to the D.C. money tap.

She can’t just go a piss off every sitting Republican senator and expect to raise the kind of money that Mittens is raising and compete with him on television.

Base Republicans need to get real politics, real soon.

Best,

Chris

Battered wife syndrome? McCain treated her like shit. Let his aides abuse and embarrass her. Denied her repeated pleadings to bring Jeremiah Wright into the campaign. He needs to go.

I hear you. I hope he does not turn into a RINO. These stories about Palin possibly campaigning for McCain are not good. Brown better not become a poster boy for RomneyCare as an options.

I agree with you across the board especially about energy.

I get sick reading bleedinh heart posts here about taking in Haitians. Well Florida is bankrupt due to illegals. The unemployment funds is empty and they jacked up employer taxes TEN times in the past month for unemployment taxes. Meanwhile the illegals get ENDLESS benefits.

Then you are admitting that the grassroots is powerless before the GOP elite.

Fail.

I did not know this. I never heard Hutchinson’s name on any short list for McCain though. Was she just being delusional?

Frankly, I have no earthly idea why she is running for governor. I just moved to Texas and I feel that I’ve just married into a family where the mother and father hate each other but no one really knows why. It’s the strangest primary I’ve ever witnessed where two incredibly high profile contenders are both trying to attack each other from the right in extremely mean-spirited ads. I have to think that Texans will be sick of this fight very shortly.

“That is the one thing that we must all respect and thank John McCain for, despite our huge and growing list of other issues with him.”

Benedict Arnold was a war hero too.

Her PAC gave money to Hatch, Murkowski, and... Lindsey Grahamnesty.

Rabs, we already discussed this weeks ago...they gave her money to help start up SarahPAC and she cleared that debt to them.

Sarah, please be very careful campaigning for McCain. He is beginning to be hated here, to the point where people will vote for anyone other than him.

Scott Brown did just fine without DC money. And what happened to all the talk here about not giving to the RNC, giving directly to candidates? That does look like the wave of the future.

I’m afraid I do not understand Sarah Palin’s strategy.

She need not oppose McCain’s reelection. But campaigning for him?

How is it good for Conservatism?

I am not saying she shouldn’t do it: wiser minds than mine are advising her, no doubt. But I am saying that I do not understand the strategy. Aside from keeping McCain’s seat out of enemy hands and preserving it securely in his sometimes-friendly-fire-hands, I don’t get it...

Can one of you Yanks please educate me?

If she supports that pro-amnesty RINO then she is just another RINO.

Agreed.

“No surprise at all. She is a woman of honor.”

It is not honorable to support a traitor.

Even if people could hold their nose for her supporting McCain - look at who Juan McCain’s friend is - Miss Lindsey Graham-nesty. McCain’s other pals are Charlie Crist (allowing another Mariel invasion of FL), Mel amnesty Martinez.

I hope she does not do this.

She will be like Clinton’s “step-brother” Bush who is pushing with the Clintons and Obama to flood Florida with Haitians.

Isn’t Rick Perry also a RINO? This is a bad idea indeed, McCain gave us Obama and she is supporting McCain. BS!

To those folks who do not want Sarah to campaign for Mccain- Her doing so only highlights how poorly Mccain stood up for her with his staff. Here she is putting her huge political capital on the line for him, while he, the war hero did not raise a finger to defend her from his own staff and the media. He does look like a jackass in front of the people, who have not forgotten anything.

Her campaigning for him does not mean the good folks in Arizona are required to vote for him. His opponent only has to highlight the poor track record he has with the base.

"Lots of Romneyites, third partiers, and noobies long time, well established FReepers and conservatives taking shots asking legitimate questions at about Sarah over something we’ve known about and discussed dismissed out of hand as messiah bashing for a long time PING!!!"

Fixed it.

Even Sarah Palin can’t convince me to vote for John McCain. I’ve lived in Arizona long enough to remember his entrance into politics as a carpetbagger, the Keating Five (maybe he wasn’t convicted of ethics violations, but he showed extremely bad judgment), repeated knuckle-rappings for riding free on other people’s planes...
