Skip to comments.Massachusetts: Olbermann Cries Racism
Posted on 01/19/2010 6:21:19 PM PST by governsleastgovernsbest
Amidst the innumerable excuses we're bound to hear for tonight's Massachusetts election results, credit Keith Olbermann with likely the most loathsome. The Countdown host would explain things away by accusing Brown supporters of . . . racism. [H/t reader Will H.]
Olbermann floated his despicable theory to Howard Fineman: "the Republicans and the Tea Partiers will tell you what happens with Scott Brown tonight whether he wins or comes close is a repudiation of Obama policies. And surely one of Obama's policies from the viewpoint of his opponents is it's OK to have this sea-change in American historyto have an African-American president. Is this vote to any degree just another euphemism the way 'states rights' was in the '60s?"

YEAH! Centerfold wins!!!
Olbermann blames Brown win on racism ping to Today show list.
Racism: the only thing all white MSNBC seems to want to talk about anymore.
What’s next, any guy that drives a pick up must be a redneck racist?
The good news is that tonight proves the American people, even from the Bluest of states, get tired of the same old nonsense. They obviously don’t buy the “this is all Bush’s fault, we inherited all these problems” and they will grow tired of the “everyone that is against Obama’s policies must be a racist” crap.
What an absolute crybaby
Seriously, I am just waiting for someone in person to deploy this canard on me. The presumption is that we would just love socialism if a white boy (or girl) tried to sell us on it. It's already been tried and failed.
Keith should stick to sports...
God, I love it!
Same here - it is a beautiful thing!
I can’t to watch old Keith blow a blood vessel on his show. He is really a loser
You can blame anything on racism. And if the person you are arguing with disagrees, you just call him a racist. If you were a liberal, you would know that already."
Truth really is stranger than fiction, sometimes.
Wait just a minute...they voted for a guy named Brown...how could it be racism?
Actually, Fineman hinted at this. He basically said, "Lots of folks in the south drive 'em".
Best line of the night, however, was Howard Dean blamed the loss on (drumroll, please) George Bush!
Ok, I’ll bite? Who is Keith Olberman? This isn’t that jackass comic who can’t get a punchline straight, is it? Is he an expert on national politics? This country is really screwed up if we take a guy like this seriously......
It’s the msm communists, followers of saul alinsky, to divide this country. Besides, if they didn’t have racism to cry and moan about...what would they talk about?
Sure- I’ll buy that, Keith !!
I am using words daily that I have not used for 30++ years, and it is all because of Obama.
Guess that means Obama brought back racism!!!
Why is that the liberals are blaming everything except what should be blamed for this? That is, if Ted Kennedy didn’t consider his seat a hereditary peerage and bowed out so that an election could be held under more favorable terms for his party, this election could have been different.
The thing this tells me, is that Keef is HATING this night, and is nearly suicidal.
And that makes me smile.
