Actually (and most fortunately) the RNC didn’t have much to do w/Brown’s campaign. Some funding and tech help, I believe, to set up phone banks and the website...but the genius of the Mass Miracle is local.

I actually hate hearing the ‘gnashing’ of teeth TONITE (tomorrow nite forward is another story).

Sending prayers up for a Brown out tomorrow...

They're getting suicidal at Democratic Underground (link to thread).Quote from thread:

15. You know, I really wish you wouldn't post this so the repubs and lurkers can see it. I for one don't want to see supposedly negative for our candidate.

DU makes DailyKos look moderate. Even they're expecting a loss.

Boo hoo.

“This is a nihilist moment, built from a nihilist strategy in order to regain power ... to do nothing but wage war against enemies at home and abroad.”

Gotta’ admit, I never seen anyone type with a lisp before.

I can see no alternative scenario but a huge - staggeringly huge - victory for the FNC/RNC machine tomorrow . . .They saw health insurance reform as Obama's Waterloo, and, thanks in part to the dithering Democrats, they beat him on that hill.

It's a populist movement Andy, not the FNC and certainly not the RNC. And the Duke of Wellington at Obama's Waterloo is Scott Brown.

I’m seriously contemplating having some friends over and watching MSNBC lol. Best comedy on TV since Carson?

Been so long since I've watched it, I can't remember the channel number. But I may look it up tomorrow to see a few case studies in despair and dyspepsia.

Whoa....they’re calling him “Rahmbama” at DU. Last time I looked they were blaming Emmanuel for everything wrong but hadn’t merged the two.

His knickers are in more than a twist, his knickers are in a mobius strip of despair.

His knickers are loaded up with the stuff he usually puts in his articles.

Remember they gave him zero votes on even the stimulus in his first weeks.

As though a bunch of Republican votes would have made the stimulus a success.

Do they realize that they are demoralizing their own base? They won’t even bother to vote.

Keep up the good work!

Last week I had a phone call from a female who identified herself as representing the RNC and stating that I would surely want to contribute to the RNC after their glorious victories in NJ and VA last November, wouldn’t I?

I told her those victories did not happen BECAUSE of the RNC, but IN SPITE of it! And I told her to not call me again until the RNC found a way to grow some ba!!s.

(Think stem cell research might help on that one?)

It will be a joy to see Brown wipe the smug off of Andrew’s (and Matthew’s) face tomorrow.

“He has to know that the Repubican leadership isn’t that smart and that makes this story more epic, right?”

I think it’s a little more accurate to say the Tea Parties and the R base forced their representatives to hold the line even though, on their own, they would have negotiated a meaningless bipartisan compromise. I think they succeeded, if succeed they do, despite their inclinations.
