I just turned on my TV, and went directly to DIRECTV's "News & Information Channels".

Right between FOX Business (Dave Ramsey) and FOX News (O'Reilly) is a click on for "The Australian Open Experience" (DIRECTV's channel mix).

DIRECTV always places these next to HIGH TRAFFIC SITES.

DIRECTV is acknowledging FOX is #1.

We’ve had Direct for a couple of years now, and this is the first crossover ad (sports to news) I have seen.

IIRC, Murdoch is not to crazy about owning DirecTV, either. I remember him calling it “Turd bird”.

Maybe there's some technical or other reason that DirecTV is not a good business deal anymore but I feel better knowing that the guy that owns Fox News has his own satellite distribution system so it can't get blocked internationally by some corrupt corporate takeover.

I canceled my $76 DirecTV service. I have a computer hooked up to a TV and watch all the TV I want for free.

Newscorp doesn’t own DTV anymore. Liberty Media had a chunk of Newscorp stock. They did a swap, I think the stock buyback was 10+ billion

What internet site do you use to watch free tv?

Yeah, but i’ve only see them do it twice, and the first time was last week and they placed it near ‘Sleuth’ and WGN’ or somewhere in between NICK and FNC...I thought about that, and it didn’t seem to make as much sense. I like and watch sleuth but I’da figured next to NICK or FNC would’a been better placement.
