Pitchforks and torches?

Tea Parties?

Or?

*************

That little two-word question — Or? — is the deadliest question of all.

There is a chance, a slim one, that we can turn this mess around at the ballot box, and that process starts on Tuesday. (Even a narrow loss by Brown will send a shock wave through the Establishment announcing that things have changed.) We’ve waved our pitchforks and torches and they ignored us. The Tea Party is our next, best hope.

After Tuesday, the momentum must build, intensely, leading up to November. We’ll need candidates who are ferocious Constitutionalists, the election must be a near sweep, and the voting must be watched and closely guarded. (Just a thought: If their “thugs” threaten our polling places, why can’t we react with more and bigger “thugs” of our own?) Then we must DEMAND that our new “leadership” do the right thing, with our closest supervision!

But if the November election results are disappointing, or if the inevitable dirty tricks succeed, or if a thousand other things go wrong — what then?

Do we then pull the shotgun out of the bedroom closet on the day after the November election and load up? And take aim at whom, precisely? At our next door neighbor because he has an Obama bumper sticker on his car? At any symbol of authority we can find? No ... there lies madness. None of that!

The right to keep and bear arms gives us the strength to resist tyranny, which is a grand and radical concept. Thank God the Founders saw that truth and put it into law!

But an armed individual is just a nut case, not a soldier. Ten armed individuals is a terror cell, on their way to jail cells. And a hundred armed individuals is just a dangerous mob. Unless there is leadership, then it becomes Second Company, Massachusetts 1st Volunteer Militia. (Yes OF COURSE I’ll be voting for Lt. Col. Brown on Tuesday! My whole family will!)

So I guess my question is — OR? OR ELSE WHAT?

I think it’s time to start talking politics with your neighbors. And everyone else you meet. It’s time to start taking sides.

Hot Damn! That was one good read!

I missed this, somehow.

I was going to post some highlights but there are too many.

THAT is an American, if anybody needs a definition.

“Would that qualify as a ‘false flag operation’?”

Absolutely.

Another FReeper noted that is was “odd” that all these liberals are backing Brown.

Odd, indeed.

We’ll see.

FReepers in Mass., keep your eyes peeled, and your camcorders recording. Take video of EVERYTHING, every chance you get. Definitely take a camcorder when you vote. If you see something odd, get it on video, as law permits, of course.

Hyperbole never helps an argument.

Nor does silence. Mind defending your ridiculous assertions?

Your comment reminded me of something I read from 2003... I recall there were rumors and/or speculation that an ultimatum like the one described below was given to al-Qaeda secretly, and that it prevented a nuke attack on America. Credible? Possibly.

Deterring Islamic Extremists

exerpt...
"So, what deterrent threat could we make to stop al-Queda from using a nuke if they got one?

The only thing I can think of as being of sufficient value that al-Queda would not risk it is the city of Mecca.

Fortunately, for our purposes, it is the city itself, not the population, that is valued.

So I think we should announce that, if Islamic terrorists detonate a nuke on American soil (or the soil of any of our allies, except maybe France), we will give one week of notice so that anyone who wishes to leave Mecca may do so, and then we will nuke Mecca until there is not left one stone upon another. And we will do it with the dirtiest nukes we can devise, so that a pilgrimage to Mecca will be deadly for the next three generations.

By allowing innocent people to leave, we make the threat more credible because it is in keeping with our desire to avoid civilian casualties where possible. And, with the one week deadline, we also make it possible for idiots who wish to martyr themselves in the destruction of Mecca to do so.

Of course, the announcement of such a policy would be greeted with howls of protest from Islamic nations. And our response should be to point out that it is therefore in the interest of every Islamic nation to ensure that terrorists never obtain a nuclear device."

Please take this off the banglist. If every thread that mentions obama was on the list, there wouldn’t be any Second Amendment discussions.

Thank you.

>But I’ve had this “feeling” in my gut for a long time now.<

I think your right. They need a “crisis” to take control that is slipping away from them.
they have come this far and have used every deception possible.
They are not about to give up just because we the people are not happy and starting to exercise our rights. They WILL step up to the plate and do whatever they have to do to squash the people who are uprising against them.

He told us flat out, he is going to transform America, unfortunately people took it one way when he meant something entirely different. They will probably try martial law or some restrictions to stop free speech and dissemination of information.

It is what dictators do.

>Likewise, we haven’t had a megadeath attack from Islam - yet. However, they are planning to do so. The “permission” to use nuclear weapons against American targets has already been “granted” by Islamic authorities. The target death toll I’ve read about was four million, two million of which must be children. That, too, is sufficiently threatening.<

You are right, but current events have changed the number I am VERY sorry to say.

I keep abreast of these developments and it looks very bad.
Within a few hours of this new FATWA the United States intel sources stated that there is a credible threat to American interests.

Yemen also stated that it would attack the United States if they were attacked for terrorism. Open source Intelligence indicates that they have the ability to cause enough damage to fulfill at least half of the new number.

see:
http://www.islamicsupremecouncil.com/iscc-fatwa-against terrorism.htm

(excerpt)
On January 8, 2010 Twenty Imams affiliated with the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada have issued a Fatwa today declaring the attacks on Canada and the United States by any extremist will be the attack on 10 million (people)

I’m sorry to deliver such disturbing news, but you seemed well informed to begin with and I see no reason to withhold the frightful news. :-(

I hate to point out that Obama would NEVER do this since he himself is probably a Muslim.

I’m reminded of that statement by Benjamin Netenyahu to Glenn Beck.

Beck asked him to define the lesson of the Holocaust.

Netenyahu answered, “When someone says they’re going to kill you, believe them.”

Thanks for delivering the news to me. Yes, it’s frightening, but I have to deal with the world as it is, not as I would like it to be.

Listen to this - don’t drag your dispute with the poster in question from thread to thread, and especially threads that have nothing to do with the NRA.

I am happy and sad to at the same time if you understand my meaning.
I just wish more people would wake up and smell the coffee, because it is been on the back burner far too long.
