Ouch!! How was your hand? Have to be really careful to put gloves back on if you’re working outside and taking notes. Inside cooling fans can be the worst, since they’re usually pretty warm inside.
The stair rail getting off the plane is covered in pipe insulation and duct tape now, for good reason.
It doesn’t take any time at all to get cold especially with only a slight wind, and its amazing how quickly a truck will get cold too.
I went outside to see if its true about water crackling in the air. Didn’t get it to happen, but the remaining water inside the cup froze to the sides in only a few seconds. The droplets on the edge were so cold they’d stick to my lip.
My hand was fine, stuck it deep in my pockets and ran for the terminal doors.
I came close to damaging my hand taking pictures of some cable tray on a piperack.
When I finally noticed my fingers tingling, I put my glove back on. My fingers tingled for a couple weeks. Rather scary.
