Underscoring the numerous disputes still raging, consumer and labor groups wrote late Thursday to Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., asking them to shorten the 12 years of protection the bill would give brand name biotech drugs from low-cost generic competitors. Obama supports a shorter period, but that is fiercely opposed by pharmaceutical companies.

It takes six to more than eight years to get a new drug through the FDA, with all the efficy testing that must be done, so these dolts want the generic manufacturers to take over after only twelve years.
What company in their right mind would spend eight years and millions/billions to develop a new drug, then have their technology taken away from them possibly before they hit break even on the investment.
Say goodbye to the US pharma industry!
Pharma will be sold out by O. That is the bottom line, O will sell his own mother, gramndmother and so forth to get his agenda meet. rules, regulations patent laws are just the status quo. Forget the status quo is O modus operandi.
If Brown wins Tuesday, we will wake the next day only to find the rats have passed this at 3am without a word.
They need a fresh CBO score before passage.

According to the link above, they may be sending it to the CBO today.
If the deals we’ve been hearing about are true, the next score CAN’T be pretty.
But will it be ugly enough to encourage some nervous red state Dems to switch their vote to “no”?
He has already taken over the judicial branch. Not one federal court will order Obama to reveal his COLB now under lock and key in Hawaii by Court Order.There have been over 40 law suits.
