After Obama Tells America “Everyone Must Sacrifice” the White House Throws 1 Party Every 3 Days in First Year

Back in January 2009, before he signed his failed $787 billion stimulus bill into law, Barack Obama told America that everyone must sacrifice for the greater good. Everyone must have “some skin in the game.”

What he meant, of course, was that everyone would have to sacrifice to lift American out of the worst recession since the Great Depression except for Barack and Michelle Obama.

Now we learn that the the Obama White House has held one party every three days in first year of Obama reign.
Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH) reported:

Let the good times roll” – and roll they have at the Obama White House, while nearly 11% of the workforce remains unemployed, nearly four million Americans are losing their homes, and terrorists ride the open skies.

In fact, according to the Chicago Tribune, the stylish Ms. Rogers and the party-hearty First Couple hosted no less than 170 parties and social events through December 3 of 2009. And that does not even include the 17 parties and 11 open houses – feting more than 50,000 guests – ABC News reported the Obamas hosted throughout the Holiday Season.

For those not counting, that means by January, 2010, Ms. Rogers had staged one gala White House event every three days throughout the first year of the Obama Administration, making the once austere Executive Mansion look more like party central.

More… Alaskan added this:

No wonder the Secret Service has problems at the Whitehouse. Security is no longer their primary duty, they are now Bouncers at the bar.

ID please.

This President is the most blatantly corrupt person ever to occupy the Whitehouse. He displays an “in your face” attitude to anyone that does not agree with his extreme liberal policies and doesn’t appear to care what the average American thinks about it. It’s almost unimaginable that a man who campaigned to be the most “bi-partisan and transparent” leader could fool everyone and then become President of this country and then behave the exact opposite. He displays no remorse about lying to the people who elected him, and actually comes across as if he is daring you to challenge him. We can thank the morally corrupt, irresponsible media for this disaster of a President, as they have been part of the scheme to take down this country to protect their elite lifestyle and power to influence American opinion through propaganda and bias. I am embarrassed of what my country has become. I have lost all confidence in our leaders. I will do everything within my constitutional rights and power to work toward these corrupt politicians removal from office at election time. ACORN will meet its match in the upcoming elections, and no SIEU thugs are going to stop the will of the American people who want their country back.

For me, attending that many parties would be a MAJOR sacrifice.

Not antisocial, just don’t much like Socializing.

Especially with THOSE Socialists.

I’m no party animal either. I just don’t think the White House should be able to have unlimited spending for social events when the country is a blue gazillion dollars in debt.

I couldn’t agree with you more. The most gifted fiction writer could never have woven together a plot filled with evil such as America has experienced during this administration.

There is something out of whack when the leader of a country in a deep recession chooses to serve $100/lb wagyu weekly.

"Out of touch" isn't strong enough.

Agree. I also think “sense of entitlement” is the operative description of B.O. and M.O.’s attitudes.

Yep. He’s the poster boy for sacrifice-—as long as someone else is doing it. Thanks for the link. You have some real winners there. :)

Never thought we could have a worse President then Carter or Clinton but the Democrats have managed. Obama is lazy — who is running the WH?

This reminds me of a scene in “Action” with Jay Mohr.

Jay plays a film exec who just produced a bomb. He gathers all his staff on the warehouse set, and tells them that they all have to cut and sacrifice to make it through the hard times ahead.

Even when it comes to personal needs. “If it’s yellow, it’s mellow. If it’s brown, flush it down.”

At that moment, the warehouse doors roll open as a helicopter is landing. He waves the golf club he’s holding and jogs towards the chopper to fly off for a round of golf.

Roll credits.

Are you a "Sliders" fan?

BTW, I agree with everything you said. It's an horrific time for those of us with children. We are watching their future stabbed in the chest with a spike and there's nothing we seem to be able to do about it.

Amen. It was agonizing watching what Clinton did to this country, but nothing compared to this administration. We are definitely "slouching toward Gomorrah."

I certainly understand why you thought of that scene. Describes O’s attitude perfectly.
