What’s a saved job?
Simple! A saved job is a job that could have been lost but never was and it is measured by declines in job approval polls. For every percent decline in approval polls for this administration, another million jobs are declared saved in an attempt to make things look good. Don't believe me? Call Rahm or David and ask!
“Whats a saved job?”
The porkulous subsidized bloated state budgets.
It just postponed layoffs for a year.
Can the American public see a detailed breakdown of the 2 million jobs?
Well, it varies.
In the beginning, here's how it works: Obama wants to give $20 million of OUR money to the city of Cincinnati to buy votes. Rahm calls da mayor and asks: "How many cops can you publicly threaten to lay off?". Da mayor goes public with his budget whining and says he'll layoff 50 cops. Team Obama flies in, showering $$$ in their path and --- voila! --- FIFTY "saved" jobs!
But that's too cumbersome, so in the second round, they simply skip the call to the mayor. They just start shoveling money out to states/cities/community organizations, who use it to fund their bloated payrolls. Much easier....and LOTS more jobs "saved"!!!!
But even that is more work than they like. So, in the final round, they decide to simply make up the numbers...and reporters will meekly discover there's nothing to investigate, because there's no record whatsoever (made up numbers don't leave a trail). Oh, and don't forget that ANY public employee ANYWHERE that gets stimulus money---if he gets a raise...yep, saved job!
THAT is what a "saved" job is.
