It wasn’t the pharmaceutical industry pushing this thing.

If anybody had an interest in perpetrating a scare, it was the Obama administration, but I don’t see this either. They did their bit, but mostly it was public/media getting too excited in the way of madness of crowds.

Anybody remember that we were all going to die with
Y2K Billion upon Billions spent and no matter how many of us said it was fallacy ..... the EXPERTS won.

Throw money at it .... software safeguarding firms made a fortune. Our gubmindt led by moron congresscritters couldn’t throw enough dollars at it ....

Use to use a mainframe and when our analog input devices reached their limit of 999, we penciled in the number 1 onto the console panel to the left of it. People have lost their mind.
