In November, a whistleblower or hacker released emails and other documents stored on computers at the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. The emails show a deliberate effort to falsify data and suppress academic debate in order to exaggerate the possible threat of man-made global warming.
Because the emails were written by leading scientists who edit and control the content of the reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Climategate has caused the scientific case for global warming to come crashing down.
On December 20 another collapse occurred — this one in Copenhagen, where representatives from more than 200 countries met but could not agree on a treaty to replace the Kyoto agreement, which expires in 2012. That same day, the Wall Street Journal reported that “White House officials … agree [with Sen. James Inhofe that] a cap and trade bill will not pass the Senate next year.”
So is the great global warming delusion over?

If I were a scientist in that 1 percent, I imagine I should be very worried about the future track of my career.
Dissention in the ranks of the High Priests of the Global Warming Cult, is not viewed as acceptable if permitted at all.
That delusion was enforced on pain of death.
The present delusion is also a Religious delusion, and will be enforced on pain of death.
It won't be overcome quickly.
What we’re facing here is religious zealotry.
The deluded libs will not give this up easily, because it IS a replacement religion for them
God put a deep-seated desire in us to be significant in our relationship with Him. The young folks who have been brainwashed into rejecting God in order to not be ridiculed or ostracized still have that desire to “matter”.
Along comes a cause. SAVE THE EARTH through your activism!
Wow, now they can “matter” and still be “cool”!

No. They are pushing it forward as if the US, England, Europe, Russia, China, India (yes, India)and Peru were not having the worst cold weather in years!
