Pirates Seize Ship Carrying 2,300 Hyundai's

A ship carrying 2,300 Hyundai's and Kia's was captured by Somali pirates about 600 miles off the coast of Somalia late Friday, The Car Connection reports.
Not to make light of something as serious as a pirate attack, but Hyundai's own public relations man Dan Bedore's tweeted that: "Even Pirates seem to be switching to Hyundai."

It just amazes me that the world lets this rag-tag operation continue. To take any real action would not be politically correct and would probably be construed as racist.
Besides, it might make Barry Hussein miss "date night" or take him away from his golf or bball.

Actually, since Hyundai was bought by Toyota, their quality has risen to being better than their US counterparts. The Genesis 4-dr sedan and 2-dr coupe are superb autos with top flight performance, luxury and quality at an affordable price.

You say “world lets this rag-tag operation continue.” like t is a simple thing to locate a small boat 600 miles out to sea. Even if you locate it, and stop it, it could be fishermen for all your trouble.
Bottom line: it aint simple and they are really trying to get a handle on it.

...nothing of value was lost... Actually we own a Hyundai. It's a damn fine little automobile built right here in the USA with non-union labor.
60K miles and not a lick of trouble with it.
