I suspect that there is much more to the story - and that this woman’s characterization of the tubaligation without consent will turn out to be a disputed assertion.

If true, then it is a case of malpractice IMO.

But I suspect (without evidence - this is pure opinion) that she consented but either changed her mind, or didn’t realize she consented. I cannot imaging a doctor deliberately doing this and shooting their career in the foot.

I agree. An IUD is done in the doctors office, a tubal is out-patient surgery.

I hope you're right. I'm also skeptical about her story; because I expect much higher standards of the medical profession.
