Beijing had its coldest morning in almost 40 years and its biggest snowfall since 1951. Britain is suffering through its longest cold snap since 1981. And freezing weather is gripping the Deep South, including Florida's orange groves and beaches.
Whatever happened to global warming?
Such weather doesn't seem to fit with warnings from scientists that the Earth is warming because of greenhouse gases. But experts say the cold snap doesn't disprove global warming at all — it's just a blip in the long-term heating trend.

But never mind, when it is colder than normal, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that global warming will continue.
I remember a few years ago, the MSM was reporting that January was unusually mild, AND, the global warming people said that mild winter weather was indicative of global warming.
But now that weather is unusually cold, we’re told that you can’t look at cold snaps as indicating anything. If there is a warm spell, it’s okay to say that weather is part of the global warming trend, but if it’s cold, then the weather is irrelevant.

Well, I say a few warm years don’t prove global warming at all — it’s just a blip while heading into the next ice age.
I do not consider short term events, such as a record cold winter, to be the Holy Grail against AGW, but it is fun to throw snowballs in Albert Goreon’s face.
I prefer to recognize long term events, such as the MWP, which lasted about 400 years, followed by the little ice age, to throw at the AGW crowd.

Keep it up people...The One who controls the weather is able to make it very, very cold. I’d drop the farce of Global Warming if I were you. Looks an awful lot like Babel and will probably have worse results.
