As much as $9.5 million in federal stimulus dollars went to 14 zip codes in Virginia that dont exist or are in other states, Old Dominion Watchdog (http://virginia.watchdog.org) reports. The fake zip codes were listed on Recovery.gov, the federal Web site that is supposed to track how the stimulus money is being used.
The phony zip codes are a new wrinkle in Recovery.govs increasingly tattered credibility. In November, Ed Pound, director of communications for the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, said a rash of phantom congressional districts found on the website were the result of confusion by fund recipients, who apparently didnt know who their congressman was.

Old Joe Biden was going to be in charge of this website that detailed where every penny was going. How's that working out, Plugs?

The thing that amazes me on all of this ineptitude and fraud is that the every day Joe and Mary Jane actually listens to their drivel (Sheriff Joe is watching!) like Obama or any politician is sincere and going to be effective. We ougtht to be running these a**holes out of town on rails and bringing incompetency charges against them versus saying “oh well”. Our government, at every level, is filled with mouth breathing fools who can’t pour pea out of a boot without assistance.

How much more Owellian can you get than a Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board which is anything but accountable and transparent, and in fact promulgates falsehoods.

Where IS Biden?I was wondering the same thing. All through 'Boma's Hawaiian vacation, and the failed Christmas bomb attack, nary a peep from ol' Joe.
Not that Joe is capable of contributing anything of value other than comic relief.

Better yet, where are the people who should be looking to call this corruption to task?

I would not be surprised to find quite a few politicians with their own personal zip code, That way the money would stimulate them directly! NO PESKY PROJECTS NEEDED!

First in line should be the Governor of Virginia, since this is money that was supposed to go to HIS state and HIS constituents ... and didn't.
Of course, the Governor of Virginia also happens to be Obama's hand-picked Chairman of the Democratic National Committee ...
