No wonder we have heard woefully little info about theses deaths.

Was there a simutaneous attack on Military and CIA?

Why are the Govs trying to downplay this?
Can think of at least 3 reasons.

From the UK - what a wonderful description of our military and accurate knowledge of our dipstick MOD.

On other issues I cannot comment - not enough knowledge or experience.

Many thanks.

The comment about the length of the detonator wire and it’s being outside the ECM bubble sounds like actionable intelligence for the bad guys, although they clearly know it works.

Second, the idea that one wounded soldier was left in the wreckage as dead is very, very bad.

I can understand why the Canadian government wishes to downplay this story since the anti-war Left will lovingly use it as propaganda against Harper in hopes of getting him thrown out.

The five Canadians were killed with about 500lbs of explosives, apparently made from fertilizer, buried under route Molson in Kandahar. A wire approximately 150m long was used to command detonate the bomb using a radio receiver.

What ever happened to the international celebrity effort to talk bad about those nations and individuals who still use landmines? Why are they silent when terrorists do it?

If I understand this correctly, the confidential issue is the release of how the terrorist planted the receiver and set-off the explosive device “inside” the ECM bubble?

From conservative Canadian blog SDA:

The real story Michael, is that until this recent mass outpouring over the loss of a journalist, Canadian media interest in operational details in Afghanistan has been pretty much limited to counting bodies and answering the question "how can we use this to damage the Harper government?"

Who is training these people? These donkey-raping sandmonkeys aren’t figuring this out on their own
