You would think that the people who live in Plains would be happy that Obama’s president. It kind of get the monkey off their back. Sort of like when someone else’s football team breaks your hometown teams record of consecutive losses.
Are people in Plains (what few there are) still gung-ho for GA Jimmuh?
I remember driving through Plains when Carter was President. There was a giant billboard out in a peanut or soy field. It said “The farmers of Georgia apologize to the people of the United States for giving you Jimmy Carter as President of the US”.
