Several passengers aboard the Christmas Day flight to Detroit where a Nigerian man attempted to blow up the airplane say a second passenger was arrested after the foiled terrorist attack and they suggested other men may have played roles as well.
Kurt Haskell of Newport, Mich., and his wife, Lori, claim they were aboard Flight 253 as they returned from a safari in Uganda, seated only a few rows behind suspected attacker Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a man who admitted to affiliation with the terrorist group al-Qaida. Haskill presented a boarding pass to Michigan Live to show that he had been a passenger on the plane.
Kurt and Lori Haskell, both U.S. attorneys with Haskell Law Firm in Taylor, Mich., told the newspaper that prior to the flight they were seated on the floor near the boarding gate in Amsterdam when Abdulmutallab approached the gate with another "Indian man" who was dressed in an expensive suit.
Kurt Haskell told Michigan Live the unidentified man in the suit approached ticket agents and asked them if Abdulmutallab could board without a passport, and he tried to convince them Abdulmutallab was a Sudanese refugee.
"The guy said, 'He's from Sudan and we do this all the time,'" Haskell told the newspaper.
But Dutch security officials claim Abdulmutallab was carrying a valid Nigerian passport and U.S. visa, according to CBS News.

Charlie Keepman of Oconomowoc, Wis., told the Detroit News that his daughter, Ricki, saw yet another man videotaping the flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, including the episode when Abdulmutallab purportedly attempted to set off explosive chemicals in his underwear.

So, it truly was an isolated incident. Isolated to seat 22A and seat 25B. /s/
bttt ... what’s the real story?
Yes, al qaeda conducted a successful dry run and taped the entire episode for review. Think about it: if the person rercording the episode was al qaeda, then the exercise was not meant to detonate and destroy the recording. Since the entire exercise was so successful, look for several planes to go down simultaneously in our near future, most likely at takeoff from large metroploitan airports like O’Hare and Hartsfield, Reagan and other strategic locations where a doomed flight would involve populace on the ground and massive damages.
Tim McVeigh worked alone too.
Just ask the gubmint.
Ask your f.b.i.
lying bastards all.
It’s disturbing how quickly all reference to the “sharp dressed man” who helped him get on the plane is disappearing down the memory hole, just as with John Doe #2.
It won’t be long before certain persons on this board will be insisting that there is no proof he had help because there is no video - and witnesses are always unreliable, etc.
Welcome to FR. If your short experience here is distasteful and the people a problem, the door swings both ways. Just sayin'...
My question is why the visit to the bathroom before trying to detonate his underwear if the explosive and detonator were already in his underwear. Is it possible that something had been prepositioned for him either under his seat or in the bathroom itself by one of the many Muslim terorist-sympathizing maintenance personnel working in Schiphol Airport and others.
Is it possible that the person recording the event could have also been transmitting the recording?
Nah...I'm going to poke people in the eye whenever I think they need it. Just sayin'...
