Archbishop of York Condemns Ugandan Anti-Gay Bill [Opposes Death For Gay Sex With Minors]

Ugandan-born Dr Sentamu said gay people were valued by God The Archbishop of York has condemned an anti-homosexuality bill going through parliament in Uganda. Dr John Sentamu, who was born in the African country, said the laws being debated were "victimising". Under the plans gays and lesbians would be jailed for life if convicted of having sex, and gay people who had sex with a minor would be put to death.

Dr Sentamu told the BBC the Anglican communion was committed to recognising that gay people were valued by God. Under the bill, proposed by MP David Bahati, people who fail to report homosexuality face up to three years in jail. Under its terms 'serial offenders' would face the death penalty.

Dr Sentamu told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "I'm opposed to the death sentence. I'm also not happy when you describe people in the kind of language you find in this private member's bill."

He added it seemed not only victimising but also "a diminishment of the individuals concerned". He also pointed out that the current law in Uganda already had provision to jail gay people for engaging in homosexual acts. The new bill wants the 14-year limit raised to life imprisonment.

Dr Sentamu said: "Sometimes people have not understood that at the moment the law in Uganda, without this bill, does exactly the same thing." Sweden has threatened to withdraw aid if the bill is approved and Africa minister Baroness Kinnock has raised concerns with her Ugandan counterpart.

Being that the act of homosexuality IS a perversion in itself says a lot.

A written agenda that wants to “lower and eventually abolish all age of consent laws”.

It says things like ACLU lawyers fighting tooth and nail to allow homosexuals and atheists in a youth organization that values the laws of God and decency.

It says things like the Gay press promoting sex with children:

One article said parents should look upon the pedophile who loves their son “not as a rival or competitor, not as a theft of their property, but as a partner in the boy’s upbringing, someone to be welcomed into their home.”
In 1995 the homosexual magazine “Guide” said, “We can be proud that the gay movement has been home to the few voices who have had the courage to say out loud that children are naturally sexual” and “deserve the right to sexual expression with whoever they choose. …” The article went on to say: “Instead of fearing being labeled pedophiles, we must proudly proclaim that sex is good, including children’s sexuality … we must do it for the children’s sake.”
Larry Kramer, the founder of ACT-UP, a noted homosexual activist group, wrote in his book, “Report from the Holocaust: The Making of an AIDS Activist”: “In those instances where children do have sex with their homosexual elders, be they teachers or anyone else, I submit that often, very often, the child desires the activity, and perhaps even solicits it.”
In a study of advertisements in the influential homosexual newspaper, The Advocate, the researcher found ads for a “Penetrable Boy Doll … available in three provocative positions. She also found that the number of erotic boy images in each issue of The Advocate averaged 14.
Homosexual newspapers and travel publications advertise prominently for countries where boy prostitution is heavy, such as Burma, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.”

It says things like appointing a homosexual who thinks teaching public school youth the art of “fisting” is “educational” to the position of “Safety Czar”.

Perversion is perversion, some perverts are better organized than others it appears.

I don’t disagree on any particular point. I read your post to be implying that abuse of girls by men is not a serious or pervasive problem. It obviously is, so I was responding to that implication.

I find the idea of the topic as a scholarly pursuit more than a bit disturbing, but I’d be willing to bet that anyone who thinks young males are “naturally sexual” believes the same of girls. I’d be willing to bet so-called scholars have said as much in other, non-homo “sexology” journals.

Since the topic of the post dealt with Ugandans’ imposing the death penalty for homosexuals that have sex with minors, I chose to show how well organized the homosexual movement is, and how sex with our youth plays such a big part in their so-called “culture”.

No sane person could argue that child molestation is a HUGE problem in our country, no matter what the gender of the child. Pornography is a billion dollar business in our once great Christian nation. Much of it is based on sex with our youth.

Yes, a sexual deviant by the name of “Alfred Kinsey” said that. (I would hardly call someone that had masterbated babies a “scholar”).

Kinsey’s so-called “work” is mentioned frequently in pro-homosexual propaganda.

Lots of good decent people “study” evil. Peter Labarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality and other good Christians and people of decency “study” and more importantly EXPOSE the homosexual agenda, and the “players” involved in it.

I guess it all depends on what the motive for your study is.
