Which Spru-can were you on and when? I was on the RKT (CG-20)from 84 to 87 in CIC. When did this race happen? During one of the Atlantic transits?

Which Spru-can were you on and when? I was on the RKT (CG-20)from 84 to 87 in CIC. When did this race happen? During one of the Atlantic transits? I guess I just didn't realize how many tin-can sailors were here. I was on the Harry E. Yarnell (aka the Hairy Urinal) (DLG-17) in the late 60s. Forward berthing could get to be a bit of a wild ride in the north Atlantic. :=)
