You’re preaching to the choir - and giving the lib websites more money.

Why??

I am still in the Navy. I was stateside in 2008 for the vote, so I can assume my vote got counted. However, I am going to resign in 2010.

when the United States Supreme Court intervened to stop a complete recount of the votes in Florida and then declared George Bush to be the president.

Actually, iirc, the Supreme Court stopped a PARTIAL recount of the votes in Florida. The "independent" MSM investigation in early 2001 showed that had a complete recount been ordered, Bush would have won the state. However both campaigns were cherry-picking when it came to the recount and the arguments they were making in court and a complete recount wasn't even under consideration.

And in any event, a complete recount of the state would have required more time than was available. The electoral college would have been unable to elect a President so the vote would have been thrown into the House of Reps ... where each state delegation gets a single vote. In that situation Bush would have won as well.

This guy is either an idiot, or a revisionist.

Tuesday! Perfect timing. Yes, please tell him he holds a special place in my heart, that every time I’m reminded of him, I smile, and that I wish him a healthy and happy new year. I would be very happy if you would also tell him that I think he’s a grand man and that one day I hope I get the chance to meet him.

You might not want to say all this, so maybe just print it out and hand it to him. :)

“Remember when they tried to count the votes behind closed doors?”

And thought they could cherry pick and just recount “their” counties instead of ALL Florida counties?

Why??

Hey, I didn't post it...it p*ssed me off when I read it.

However, maybe the discussion on this thread will catch someone's eye that doesn't know the truth about 2000.

That's why.

Aw, he's a sweet man. I can tell he's that way, but he deserves a little flattering and a whole lot of praise and I mean every word sincerely. He really came through for us.

I'm smiling right now learning that you saved the signs!!! Oh yeah, COUNT THE MILITARY VOTE!

Damn democrats and they still wonder why we think they're not patriotic. Idiots.

It's almost 2010 for you, so I wish you a HAPPY and HEALTHY NEW YEAR!

((( Hug and a smooch )))
