Ten years? I’ll be deemed too old for treatment by Obama’s Death Panels by that time.

If the drug industry survives Obamacare, this is encouraging.

Yes ... because there will be no incentive to do this.

Death will be the incentive.

Now if they could invent antibodies that can wipe out our most dreaded disease - Liberalism.

“As your marxist muslim president it is my job, and frankly, my personal prerogative - and may I say distinct pleasure, to deny you any live saving drug. Unless of course you are one of my slave minions at Government Motors or Acorn! No, it does not bother me to either condemn you to a tortuous death or to actually watch you die! I have no feelings. And beside, I may need such a cure someday, and better me than you! But don't woory, you're still of great value to the my gulag. We will take all your money and possessions when you die so that I can bribe more slaves to vote for me and then deny them lifesaving drugs. See how it works? I get everything, because I am Barack Obama!"

Sounds very cool on the one hand but one wonders if the antibody is specific enough and doesn’t have the potential or tendancy to kill other cells as well.

Rule #1 in cancer research, everything kills cancer in mice.

I know I’ve seen at least 20 cancer cures in mice that have had no beneficial effect on humans, since I started paying attention.

By now the lifespan of the average mouse must be at least 100 years.

I've noticed this also. I'm curious if this results from the FDA requiring most cancer patients to undergo chemo first, thereby destroying the immune system's ability to benefit from the new medicine.
