In the early 20th century, Argentina was one of the richest countries in the world. While Great Britain's maritime power and its far-flung empire had propelled it to a dominant position among the world's industrialized nations, only the United States challenged Argentina for the position of the world's second-most powerful economy.

I'm afraid that what JPFO has published will come to pass.......
What will you fight for?
I’m not sure that we can fight the government to stop them from printing worthless money. What will you fight for?
I never knew the details about Argentina — thanks for posting. Unfortunately, we are headed down the same path. Other countries used to want to emulate the US; now, the US apparently wants to follow the lead of third-world, bankrupt, socialist, has-been countries. Go figure...
It’s a load of crap. Argentine’s economy was nearly entirely dependent on trade with the Anglosphere. It got hammered in the Great Depression just like everyone else. But it never recovered because the leftists in the United States and Great Britain tied Peron to Franco, and Franco, outrageously, to Hitler. Therefore, they began an economic boycott which Argentina didn’t fully emerge from until President G H W Bush.
This is not to say that Argentina had critically bad economic policies, but there’s a reason the U.S. recovered despite Roosevelt, but Argentina could not recover despite its leftists.
Ping!
Here are the stopping points:
I will not allow my income to be confiscated for illegal, immoral and unconstitutional schemes. I will not submit to arrest on that account.
I will neither register my weapons nor will I disarm. I will not submit to arrest on that account.
I will not be silenced. I will continue to speak my mind and support the cause of liberty. I will not submit to arrest on that account.
I will not submit to arrest because of who I am, what I say, or what I think.
I love reading all the things you will fight for, and I’ll be in the trenches with you.
At some point you have to conside whether or not you could live with yourself if you submit to what’s coming at us. In fact,, given the pedigree of the ideas of 0bama’s minders, the chances of living at all are open to debate. History is my witness.
So when do you stop giving in? It’s a tough question. I’m old enough and have done enough to have no regrets if I must go down in defense of what I believe in.
And then there’s that that last question: if someone isn’t willing to fight for what they believe in, then how cheaply nust they hold their own reason for being? Wouldn’t it be better if we had never made their acquaintence?
Stupidity has consequences.
Mixing the two is like mixing ether and alcohol.
The thought of a Second American Revolution runs through my mind at times. I think it behooves us all to be prepared......
We are. We are now always with easy reach of our 72 hour kits. Anything could happen at any time. All bets are off and there are no guarantees.
Damn! An entire Resistance Movement could be organized around the words you wrote...
just sayin’
I suspect that it is. There's no copyright on common sense, and I'm surely not the only one who has made this commitment. After all - for what did we swear that oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign AND domestic so long ago?
And it doesn't matter how many times we see that movie, there are plenty of people who want to press Rewind/press Play.
It has always been a mystery to me why so many people never learn—even after experiencing the same thing over and over—and always expecting a different outcome—that never comes.
And I’ll join you both!
