No, as far as I have read and understand they will still need 60 once a bill is combined and gets out of committee. There has been talk that Pelosi may waive the rules yet again and send it right to the floor instead of to committee as the rules require, but the Senate will still need 60 votes.
I realize all you say about RINO’s, but as has been said before, this is the NE, and MA at that. Just to have an “R” replace a Kennedy would send a great message to all in Congress. We take what we can get.
It’s a hopeless cause trying to educate people here about politics in Massachusetts.
They have no idea how difficult it is for a politician with an R next to their name. They have no idea how difficult it is for a republican governor with a state legislature that is completely Democratic.
They don’t understand that the 100% purity test cannot be applied.
