Remember when Obama worshipping columnist Andrew Sullivan opined that electing Obama would be the best weapon in the war on terror?
Here's a reminder:

First we had the Muslim shooting at the Army recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas killing one soldier in June. Then, in November, the Muslim massacre at Fort Hood killing 13 soldiers and wounding 30. Now, the botched Christmas Day attack on the airliner carrying 300 people.
One might make the case that the tempo and seriousness of these attacks is on the rise. And yet, from the beginning of the Obama Administration, they have downplayed the seriousness of the problem. Obama and company refused to call this a "war on terror." Janet Napolitano, Sec. of Homeland Security choose to call these attacks "man caused disasters." It's no wonder that Mark Steyn dubbed Ms. Napolitano "Janet Incompetano" after she claimed "the system worked" in the wake of the failed underwear bomber (bomb photos here). Let's not forget that Sec. "Incompetano" seemed to be more concerned with "rightwing extremist activity" than she was by Islamic terrorists who have killed thousands of Americans.
Obama too has had trouble calling terrorism by it's name.

They win when they succeed, and they win when they fail, because all of the reactionary responses target the victims, all of us, rather than profile the scumbags, Islamic, Muslim terrorists. Billions of taxpayer’s dollars will be spent increasing security at airports to inspect victims, and the predators will still slip through, because no one wants to offend them. Islamic terrorists know they are dealing with fools.

About a year ago, I was with my wife, our daughter, her husband and 4 of our grandchildren. We were going through the security line for our return fight from a vacation in Hawaii.
Before even going through the metal detector, I was singled out and pulled from the line. I was made to get up from my wheelchair and step away. I was made to spread eagle while the “armpit idiot” spent over 5 minutes checking me out. Although the chair was not going onto the plane, it was also checked. At first I thought it was funny, but then I became pissed because I could see others going through the line that I would have wanted checked.
If I fit a profile, this is it: 61 years old, white man, large chest and broad shoulders, wheelchair dependent, requiring oxygen assist, packing a cane, heart patent with a wire still in his chest and with his family of obvious vacationers. We had been there 2 weeks, so I was quite tan, perhaps that’s what caused all of the suspicion... my dark skin and cool Hawaiian shirt. Maybe they checked my background and found that I served in the US Army and that I’m a retired LEO of 30 years.... so I obviously love guns. Maybe they found out that I have a German Shepherd dog from a bloodline of people killers.
I wasn’t embarrassed because I don’t give a sh-t what others think, but I did become very grumpy.
If it were not for my family being present, I would have created a very unpleasant scene.
One aspect that I have not seen mentioned is the fact that Arabs (and AlQ leadership is very much an Arab group) have a very low, contemptuous view of blacks, and Obama's election reinforces their sense that the US is a weak nation.
