Homeland Security Touts 2009 Accomplishments, Including ‘Secure Flight’ Program Tuesday, December 29, 2009 By Penny Starr, Senior Staff Writer

(CNSNews.com) – Just days before a Nigerian man tried to blow up a U.S. airliner as it descended into Detroit, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security released its “2009 Accomplishments & Reforms” fact sheet, touting its “Secure Flight” passenger vetting program.

The Obama administration has confirmed that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was on the U.S. government terrorist watch list, but the 23-year-old man was still able to board a Northwest plane in Amsterdam bound for Michigan.

On the DHS fact sheet, issued on Dec. 15, the “Secure Flight” program is second on the list and is described as a program that “prescreens name, date of birth and gender against government watch lists for domestic and international flights.”

The “Secure Flight” program is explained in a press release posted on the Web site of the Transportation Security Administration, which is part of DHS.

Homeland Security is probably the most inept agency in the government. It is, however, led by the single stupidest person in the world.

The self-parody government continues to write its own jokes in real-time and act as its own punchlines...

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

As long as non-Americans are responsible for the security of flights that originate outside the US but bound for our soil the problem will not be solved. The answer is to stop all flights to and from countries that do not permit American oversight, at every level, of the security procedures for flights that end up in America.

The reaction such a move would be quick and violent, and it would cost a lot of money. But regardless of the cost it would be a better result than we would be dealing with today had the Christmas plot gone off as planned.

On the DHS fact sheet, issued on Dec. 15, the “Secure Flight” program is second on the list and is described as a program that “prescreens name, date of birth and gender against government watch lists for domestic and international flights.”

DHS fact sheet (note: PDF)

The DHS can conjure up all the programs it wants, like “Secure Flight” but they won't do shiite to protect us when a Jihadist starts out from Nigeria, buys his ticket in Ghana, boards a plane in Senegal, transfers in Amsterdam to a plane bound for the USA. The fact IS all this feel good security carp ONLY pertains to flights originating in the USA.

And I read that DHS Fact sheet (8 pages) and Janet Nappy gives herself a lot back slap atta-boys for making security agreements with countries like Italy and Canada. Well WHOOPPEE! Al-Queda doesn't have a branch office in Milan or Winnipeg. But I have a hunch they DO in say Chad!

So Janet, howz about trying to work with countries in AFRICA. Barry can even translate any Arabic for you. And we know he's got the whole bowing thing down pat so as not to 'insult' some Imam.
