Poor Andrea. I don't know how she sleeps at night with all of us Tea Party goers giving her nightmares.

I actually was looking for Bloomberg's quotes from this round table.

This is what I was looking for:

BLOOMBERG: Well, the economy has certainly turned around. It’s stopped going down and it’s slowly coming back, and it’ll be a long time before we get to where we were three years ago. But you talk about the last decade, and, and Andrea brought up 9/11 as sort of the defining moment of that decade. There are two things that we did not work on and, in fact, one have gone the wrong direction during the last decade, which will dictate the economy for the next decade, and that’s immigration and education.

BLOOMBERG: And education -- and Newt’s been out there campaigning around the country. The president says it’s number one priority for him, he’s got Arne Duncan , who’s a great secretary of Education, working on it. But unless we give our young people the kind of education to compete in the global world, we cannot survive...

PATRICK: Hear, hear.

BLOOMBERG: ... certainly can’t survive with the -- with the kind of jobs we want, with the benefits we want for our people.

And immigration, we’re committing what I call national suicide. Somehow or other, after 9/11 we went from reaching out and trying to get the best and the brightest to come here, to trying to keep them out. In fact, we do the stupidest thing, we give them educations and then don’t give them green cards.

Somehow Bloomberg got "immigration reform" mixed in with the the insurance reform bill.

I don't entirely disagree with Bloomberg on this part. We are being idiotic when we educate that world's brightest minds who are invited here to enjoy the best education available, then we kick them out out of some misplaced fear of competition - while at the same time allowing the dumbest of the dumb to pour into our country unabated through our US/Mexican border.

He makes a valid point about keeping the talent that we've educated, but he forgets the other salient part of the equation. We should retain those who graduate from US schools, especially those graduating with advance science & engineering degrees. If those people are encouraged to return to India and China, it only hurts us in the long run.

Oh yeah, try to associate Sarah Palin with George Wallace...nice try, Mrs. Greenspan!

So how many times did Governor Palin stand in front of schools doors to block black students from entering?

So we now know the focus groups didn’t react well to ongoing Nazi references, but Wallace must work as a code-word for racist...

NBC’s Andrea Mitchell insisted the “Obama Doctrine” has “borne fruit,” but “it is not perceived yet” — MMM...NOT PRECIEVED YET??? IT MAY BE TO FAR REACHING FOR US COMMON FOLK TO UNDERSTAND
though the President has already “united the world behind the United States.”
WE CAN SEE THIS FROM COPENHAGEN, YOU LIE!
Mitchell “there’s an anger out there” she hasn’t seen since George Wallace in 1968. SHE DELIBERATLEY MENTIONS WALLCE TO DRIVE A WEDGE OF RACISM INTO THE ARENA And that, she maintained, “is the angry populism which is not fact-based.
JOURNALISM IS FACT BASED MISSY, AND YOU ARE NOT! YOU LIE AGAIN!

“there is an angry subtext because of economic dislocation that is very, very worrisome.”

Poor thing has it all wrong.

There is an angry MAJORITY because of the lack of accountability of our elected officials, the lack of representation of over HALF of our LEGAL citizens, the lack of concern for the safety and well being of We the People from another terrorist attack and the steady march towards socialism/communism that seems to be gaining speed on ALL fronts.

Go ahead dumba$$ and keep blaming the economy. Keep getting it wrong.

From her wiki entry: Mitchell graduated with a B.A. in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967, where she served as News Director of student radio station WXPN. She joined Philadelphia then-NBC affiliate KYW radio and KYW-TV as a reporter that same year...

Unless she was covering presidential campaigns her first year out of college she has NO professional memory of the Wallace campaign.

So, she's not even a good liar.
