How far does the car go on an 80% charge? What size circuit is required to power that charger? Can the grid handle those chargers everywhere doing their 30 minute charges during peak? That’s some journalism.
Also, what is the efficiency of burning your fossil fuel’s (outside of France these are mostly coal burners) at the power plant and sending it over the grid as opposed to burning other fossil fuels within the car? And for those fools who care how much carbon are they thus indirectly spewing from using these, plus how much carbon is generated in their manufacture.
